A position has become available for a Sales Administrator to join our dynamic team, in Middelburg.

Purpose of the Job:

This role is responsible for general processing of the Massey Ferguson product line sales administration documentation and facilitating sales support for standard product line sales across the distribution network to company standards, systems and procedures compliance.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Maintain appropriate sales process administration documentation and processing to ensure compliance and audit readiness
  • Process whole good order placements on principal suppliers per plan
  • Accurately book in stock arriving and allocate relating costs
  • Assist with the homologation process on new product introductions
  • Process stock quality control information and drive corrective action relating to shortages, damages, stripping orders and fitting of attachments
  • Participate and assist with whole goods cycle count and stock take events per plan
  • Process show & demonstration unit orders, arrange transport, obtain GRV’s and maintain accurate records of hours and demo reports
  • Place orders on local service providers, maintain a transport schedule and process vendor invoices
  • Maintain a firm order schedule for assigned products and perform pre-invoice checks to ensure sufficient account credit limit and relevant supporting documents
  • Process sales administration documentation, costing & invoicing per relevant pricelist, promotion programs or approved discount override quotations to corporate standards and procedure compliance
  • Log NATIS numbers and issue dealers with registration documents
  • Participate in key sales activities, dealer and customer events
  • Facilitating telephonic and web-based enquiries and refer to appropriate area manager, branch or dealer with follow up
  • Providing sales support for standard product line sales across the distribution network
  • Maintain accurate sales records and report retail sales to RGT
  • Updating schedules for weekly and monthly reports (stock dashboard, response, sales per region, order intake, outstanding orders, deliveries & bookings, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Matric
  • Relevant certificate / diploma in sales administration

Experience:

  • 3+ Years working experience
  • Agriculture industry, market segment and network distribution administration experience
  • Mechanization equipment application account administration experience
  • Experience with systems, policies & procedures
  • Business administration process experience
