Nedbank Group is one of South Africa’s four largest banks, with Nedbank Limited as our principal banking subsidiary. The bank is recruiting for the following position:

Job Purpose

To ensure financial transactions are processed within the agreed turn around times in terms of the laid down procedures and processes to effectively manage risk within the bank.

Job Responsibilities


Checking and processing new payout requests within 18 minutes.

Checking and processing payout pendings within 11 minutes.

Attend to customer telephonic requests in a professional manner.

Ensure incoming telephone calls are answered within 15 seconds.

Ensure client telephonic requests are adhered to.


Reviewing all supporting documents received from the dealers for accuracy, completeness and compliance before payout.

Ensure that clear and correct FICA documents are received before payout.

Stay updated with amended policies and procedures.

Report suspicious and fraudulent transactions to line management.

Effective Communication

Assist and liaise with dealers on incomplete and incorrect payout requests.

Proactively follow up on payout pending with dealers or sales.

Escalate relevant queries to team leader or manager for sign off where applicable

Essential Qualifications – NQF Level

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

Preferred Qualification

  • Matric OR
  • 3 year degree in Banking or Finance field

Minimum Experience Level

1 year appointed as a Officer New Business in the Vehicle Asset Finance industry with the successful completion of the payouts assessment or

1 year appointed as a Payouts Officer (payment to dealerships) in the Vehicle Asset Finance industry.
