Our client has a fantastic new opportunity open for Call Centre Customer Service Clerks.

We are currently looking for a resourceful , preferably bilingual and highly service oriented Customer Service Clerk

Key Tasks:

Provide prompt and efficient service in a busy Call Center environment.
Following up on clarifications, delivery information, expediting, discrepancies, product design and recommendations and product complaints.
Responsible for administering all customer service activities for customers, end users, distributors and sales representatives, such as order placement, order cancellation, taking payment information, etc.
Maintaining and updating computerized custome
r records.

Serve as customer contact by telephone, mail, fax or email.
Record all customer requests and forward those requests to the proper departments
Resolve billing issues and determine the source of the problem to ensure it does not occur in the future
Understand internal procedures and personnel contacts for processing complete and accurate paperwork.

Assist with orienting and training new employees

Maintain, validate and update the customer database
Maintain all required records regarding prices, discounts, product information, etc.

The successful candidate will need to possess the following:

Matric
An enthusiastic team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
Conflict resolution skills
Dedication to quality and commitment to outstanding customer service
Ability to quickly solve problems
Ability to actively listen
Ability to handle correspondence, effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and the general public

Compensation/ Benefits:

R15500 with company benefits , incentives and year end bonus
